L’exemplaire présenté fait partie de cette désirable série. Vendu neuf aux USA, il dispose d’une superbe teinte noire (code 1A) associée à un intérieur en cuir noir et crème (code 30 Y), qui lui confère une distinction rare. Importé en Europe en 2008, il a ensuite bénéficié d’une restauration étalée sur 4 ans, documentée par de nombreuses photos. La carrosserie et ses soubassements ont été restaurés, la toile de capote a été remplacée et son mécanisme a été remis en état. La belle sellerie en cuir bicolore conforme à la configuration d’origine a été remise en état en préservant au maximum les éléments présents. Le puissant V8 d’origine, associé à la boîte hydra-matic, fonctionne quant à lui de manière satisfaisante. Cette superbe Cadillac prête à prendre la route est accompagnée d’un rapport d’expertise de 2025 et de nombreux documents relatifs à son historique depuis 2008. Complète de ses badges et accastillages spécifiques au millésime 54, la carrosserie noire sur laquelle tranchent les chromes rutilants est impressionnante et s’apparente à une œuvre de design. Sold new in the USA, it features a superb black paint finish (code 1A) combined with a black and cream leather interior (code 30 Y), which makes it particularly distinctive. Imported to Europe in 2008, it subsequently benefited from a restoration spanning four years, documented by numerous photographs. The bodywork and substructure have been restored, the soft top fabric has been replaced and mechanical parts have been revised. Faithful to its original specification, the beautiful two-tone leather upholstery has been restored while preserving as much of existing elements as possible. Paired with the Hydra-Matic gearbox, the powerful original V8 engine is running smoothly.
